As the core material for constructing the thermal envelope of a cold room, it directly determines its thermal insulation performance, airtightness, and energy consumption levels.

Technical Specifications of PU/PIR Cold Room Panels

Fire Rating

PIR Core (Class B1): It features excellent flame-retardant performance, self-extinguishing upon removal of the ignition source, and meets high fire safety standards.
PU Core (Class B2): Combustible, but can be treated to achieve Class B1.

PU Core (Class B2): Standard combustible material. Can be factory-treated with flame retardants upon client request to achieve an upgraded Class B1 rating.

XPS Insulation Panel (Class B1/B2): High strength, moisture-resistant, ideal for floors and high-humidity environments.

PIR / PU: 40–42 kg/m³
XPS: ≥ 35 kg/m³ (customizable for strength requirements)
