A Containerized Cold Room is a standalone, portable refrigeration unit that integrates a complete cooling system and insulated structure within a standard shipping container framework. It combines the robustness, transportability, and modularity of a shipping container with the precise temperature control of a cold store.
Core Value: Plug-and-play, rapid deployment, and location-agnostic, making it a perfect alternative or supplement to traditional built-in cold storage.
Main Types of Containerized Cold room
Chiller Container: Temperature range typically -5°C to +15°C, used for fruits, vegetables, dairy, beverages...
Freezer Container: Temperature range can reach -25°C or lower, used for frozen meat, seafood, ice cream...
Controlled Atmosphere (CA) Container: Adds control of O₂ and CO₂ levels for premium produce preservation.
Dual-Temperature Container: Divided into two independent zones within one container for different products.

Advantages
✔ Can be easily relocated by truck, ship, or rail to wherever it's needed most, based on production, season, or market changes.
✔ Requires only a level site and power connection. Can be operational within days, with no complex civil works, significantly reducing upfront cost and time.
✔ Start with one unit and add more as your business expands. This modular approach makes capacity planning simple and risk-free.
✔ Built on a shipping container frame, it is extremely robust, capable of withstanding harsh handling and weather conditions, ensuring a long lifespan.
Practical Applications
1. Seasonal Storage and Farm-to-Door
Provides temporary storage during harvest seasons, enabling off-season sales and enhancing product value.
2. Cold Chain Logistics and Temporary Transit
Serves as mobile cold storage at ports, airports, or temporary logistics hubs, ensuring an unbroken cold chain.
3. Emergency and Disaster Relief
Rapidly deployed for storing medicines, vaccines, and relief supplies during natural disasters or public health crises.
4. Retail and Catering Expansion
Offers temporary storage solutions for supermarkets, central kitchens, or restaurant chains to handle holiday peaks or business expansion.
5. Remote Area Coverage
Provides reliable cooling capacity in remote areas with unstable grids or lacking infrastructure (can be paired with generators).
6. Specialized Cargo Storage
Ideal for temperature-sensitive goods like chemicals, precision instruments, and high-value artworks.
7. Events and Temporary Sites
Provides on-site cold chain support for major events like sports games, music festivals, and temporary exhibitions.
Please Pay attention to the following points:
❗ Ensure level, load-bearing ground. Use a spirit level and professional leveling pads if needed.
❗ Double-check voltage, frequency, and phase. Ensure installation by a qualified electrician with proper grounding.
❗ Maintain at least 1 meter of operational and heat dissipation space around the container, particularly near the condenser unit. Avoid placing it in poorly ventilated corners or areas exposed to direct sunlight.
❗ Regularly check drains are clear. In cold climates, install heat tracing cables to prevent freezing.
