If your industry relies on stable low temperatures to ensure quality, then you need a professional cold room facility.
What is a Cold Room?
An insulated and humidity-controlled space that uses mechanical refrigeration to maintain a constant low temperature (typically -25℃ to +15℃) for product storage.
Its core function is to maintain a low-temperature environment required for the product in a long-term and stable manner to extend its shelf life.
Core Parts of a Cold Room

1. Insulated Structure
Constructs a high-performance thermal envelope with superior insulation properties (low U-value) to minimize energy loss and maintain precise temperature stability, serving as the foundational energy-saving component of the cold room.
Nowadays, high-efficiency and eco-friendly materials such as polyurethane (PUR/PIR) sandwich panels are widely used, offering better insulation, fire resistance, and compliance with green building standards. Furthermore, to meet practical storage requirements (e.g., hygiene, corrosion resistance, impact resistance), polyurethane sandwich panels clad with single/double-sided stainless steel or color-coated steel sheets are also extensively adopted, achieving an optimal balance between thermal performance and specific application needs.
2. Refrigeration Unit
The 'heart' of the system. It compresses and circulates the refrigerant to pump heat from inside the room to the outside environment.
Inverter technology and eco-friendly refrigerants (R448A, R449A, CO₂, ammonia) have become mainstream, significantly improving the Coefficient of Performance (COP) and reducing Global Warming Potential (GWP). Moreover, modular unit designs, remote monitoring interfaces, and corrosion-resistant housings suitable for high-temperature and high-humidity environments have become standard for industrial cold rooms, supporting reliable year-round operation.
3. Evaporator
It absorbs heat from the internal air, causing the liquid refrigerant to evaporate and cool the air.
High-efficiency fans, precise defrost control, and compact design are our standard features, enhancing cooling efficiency and reducing frost impact, making them particularly suitable for high-humidity environments.
4. Control System
It automates operation, maintains the setpoint temperature, and provides safety monitoring and alarms.
It enables remote monitoring, energy consumption analysis, predictive maintenance, and smart alerts. Integration with IoT allows for cloud platform connectivity, resulting in a higher level of system integration.
5. Cold Room Door
Provides access for loading and unloading products while designed to minimize cold air loss when closed.
To suit various scenarios, diverse door types such as electric sliding doors, swing doors, and rapid roll-up doors are available. Some high-end models also feature door seam heating, motion sensors, and integrated control systems to further reduce energy loss and condensation risks.
